Description

Deliciously crispy air fryer chicken wings made from frozen raw wings, perfect for any game day or gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb frozen chicken wings (raw)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • Optional: buffalo wing sauce, celery, blue cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  2. Spread the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook the frozen wings for a total of 12 minutes in the air fryer, flipping after 6 minutes.
  4. Keep an eye on the wings and cook them for more or less time depending on your desired degree of doneness.
  5. If you have frozen UNCOOKED wings, the cooking time will be longer, taking about double the time compared to pre-cooked wings.
  6. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the 1 lb frozen wing sections (12-13 wings), olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine.
  7. The frozen chicken wings will take about 24 minutes in total to cook.
  8. Add the frozen wings to the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes on one side.
  9. Flip the wings and cook an additional 12-13 minutes until they’re cooked through.
  10. Serve with wing sauce, celery, and blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Raw frozen wings take about double the cooking time compared to pre-cooked frozen chicken wings in the air fryer.
  • Different air fryer models may cook hotter or less hot than others, adjust timing accordingly.
