Description

Delicious and easy to make nachos loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Baking Sheet – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Layer the Chips – Spread a generous layer of tortilla chips on the baking sheet.
  4. Add the Sauce – Drizzle pizza sauce evenly over the chips.
  5. Add Cheese and Pepperoni – Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the chips and sauce. Place pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, distributing them evenly.
  6. Season and Top – Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Add a pinch of Italian seasoning for extra flavor. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle some red pepper flakes.
  7. Bake – Place the nachos in the preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish – Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  9. Serve – Serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, broil the nachos for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Experiment with additional toppings such as sliced olives, mushrooms, or bell peppers to customize your nachos.
  • To make the nachos extra cheesy, layer some cheese directly on the chips before adding the sauce and more cheese on top.
