Description
Deliciously chewy cookie bars filled with chocolate chips and M&M’s, perfect for sharing during the holidays.
Ingredients

- 2 cups + 2 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 cup Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Christmas M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 metal pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda together.
- In a separate medium bowl, beat together melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar until well combined. Add in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix.
- Fold in dry ingredients. When half way combined, add in chocolate chips and M&M’s. Continue to fold until just combined.
- Press dough evenly into pan. Bake for 23 minutes.
- Right after removing from the oven, press additional chocolate chips and M&M’s gently into the top of the cookie bars.
Notes
- For a festive touch, use seasonal M&M’s.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
