Description

Delicious homemade chocolate truffles made with a rich blend of chocolate and ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup miniature chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 pounds semi-sweet chocolate candy coating (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread the flour over a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop level tablespoonfuls and roll into balls; place on the lined baking sheet. Loosely cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  4. Melt candy coating according to package directions. Dip balls in coating; place back on the waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Store truffles in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Chilling the truffles helps them set up better before dipping.
  • Feel free to customize with different types of chocolate or toppings.
