- 2 pounds chicken breast cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Season chicken with salt and black pepper. Tip: Even seasoning helps flavor the entire bake.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through then set aside.
- In the same skillet melt butter and add garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Tip: Stir constantly to avoid burning.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened. Tip: Keep heat low to prevent curdling.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Place chicken and broccoli in a baking dish. Pour sauce evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden. Tip: Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
