Description
A delicious one-pan meal of chicken and rice infused with lemon and garlic flavors.
Ingredients

- 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 ½ cups White Rice
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Lemon (juiced and zested)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large deep skillet over medium high heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet. Season it with oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Brown the chicken in the butter for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan to a separate plate.
- Add the garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until you can smell the garlic.
- Gently stir in the rice, chicken broth, lemon juice and zest.
- Place the chicken on top of the rice in the pan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to low.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until the liquid is absorbed, rice is tender and chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the heat. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes and then the chicken and rice is ready to serve and enjoy!

- Ensure chicken is fully cooked before serving.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
