Delicious homemade maple glazed donuts, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat!
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 6-cavity donut pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
- Pipe or spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes. Let donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack.
- Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl until smooth and slightly thick.
- Dip cooled donuts into the glaze and let set on a rack. Double dip if desired.

- Store donuts in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
