Description

A delicious stuffed salmon recipe featuring creamy shrimp filling, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large salmon fillet (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Shrimp Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined. Add the shrimp to the mixture and stir until they are well coated.
  3. Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillet on a clean surface, skin side down. Make deep cuts across the salmon filet every 2 inches, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Stuff the Salmon: Gently open each cut in the salmon and spoon in the shrimp mixture.
  5. Season and Cook: Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the stuffed salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is well softened for easier mixing.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Make sure the salmon is fresh and the shrimp are evenly coated for best flavor.
  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
