Description
A delicious stuffed salmon recipe featuring creamy shrimp filling, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large salmon fillet (about 2 lbs)
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Shrimp Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined. Add the shrimp to the mixture and stir until they are well coated.
- Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillet on a clean surface, skin side down. Make deep cuts across the salmon filet every 2 inches, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff the Salmon: Gently open each cut in the salmon and spoon in the shrimp mixture.
- Season and Cook: Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the stuffed salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is well softened for easier mixing.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Make sure the salmon is fresh and the shrimp are evenly coated for best flavor.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
