Description

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a perfect blend of crispy fried chicken and creamy ranch slaw, all packed into a soft brioche bun!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • Neutral oil for frying (canola or vegetable)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together buttermilk, hot sauce, and egg. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Dredge each marinated chicken piece in the flour mixture, pressing to coat thoroughly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.
  5. Melt butter and stir in buffalo sauce to create the glaze.
  6. Toss fried chicken in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Combine shredded lettuce, ranch dressing, dill, parsley, and chives to make the slaw.
  8. Lightly toast brioche buns. Spread ranch on the bottom, add slaw, buffalo chicken, and top bun.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy the crunch and flavor explosion.
  10. Optional: add extra ranch drizzle for more creaminess.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of hot sauce based on your spice preference.
  • These sliders can be served as an appetizer or main dish.
  • Consider serving with extra buffalo sauce on the side for dipping.
