Description

Delicious tater tots topped with ground meat and cheese, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers and onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for topping)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, slightly mash the tater tots. Press the mixture into each muffin cup to form a base.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground meat until browned. Add chopped vegetables; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the meat mixture into each tater tot base generously. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, topped with sour cream.
