Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 (10-ounce) jar pepper jelly (choose desired heat level)
  • 12 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • Assorted sturdy crackers, pretzel crisps, toasted baguette slices (crostini), cucumber slices, or crisp apple/pear slices (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and smooth the top.
  3. Pour the pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Garnish with chopped chives or cilantro, if desired.
  5. Serve with assorted crackers, pretzel crisps, toasted baguette slices, cucumber slices, or apple/pear slices.
