- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 (10-ounce) jar pepper jelly (choose desired heat level)
- 1–2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
- Assorted sturdy crackers, pretzel crisps, toasted baguette slices (crostini), cucumber slices, or crisp apple/pear slices (for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and smooth the top.
- Pour the pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer.
- Garnish with chopped chives or cilantro, if desired.
- Serve with assorted crackers, pretzel crisps, toasted baguette slices, cucumber slices, or apple/pear slices.
