Description

A delicious twist on traditional pizza with a taco flavor profile.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a sheet pan.
  2. Roll out pizza dough onto the sheet pan, stretching it to fit.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil and bake for 8 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Add taco seasoning and water, stirring until well combined. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Spread salsa evenly over the baked crust, then layer the seasoned beef on top.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the beef.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before topping with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and green onions.
  10. Drizzle with sour cream and slice into squares. Serve immediately.
