- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Roll out your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, crimp the edges, and place it in the fridge while you prepare the filling.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the pecan halves until fully coated in the filling mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the chilled pie crust. Place the pie dish on a baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Let the pie cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours before slicing.
