Description
A refreshing fruity parfait featuring layers of yogurt, granola, and vibrant fruits.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup watermelon chunks
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- 1 cup granola
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds or pecans)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Fruits: Rinse all the berries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Peel and slice the kiwi, and cut the pineapple and watermelon into bite-size chunks.
-
Layer the Parfait: In a large glass serving bowl or individual cups, start by adding a layer of granola. Spoon a layer of Greek yogurt over the granola. Add an assortment of the sliced fruits: some strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, pineapple, and watermelon. Drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup over the fruit layer for added sweetness.
-
Repeat the Layers: Repeat the layering process: more granola, another yogurt layer, and then the fruits. Make sure to use all of your ingredients.
-
Top It Off: On the final layer, add some extra fruits for decoration and a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top for added crunch. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
Notes
- Feel free to modify the fruits based on what’s in season or to your taste preferences.
- You can toast the nuts lightly to enhance their flavor.
- For a dairy-free option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt.
- Serve immediately for the freshest taste, as the granola can get soggy if left to sit.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to your taste preference.
